It is a functioning model: pull the hammer back, and when you squeeze the trigger, it will shoot a projectile.

The SIG Sauer P220 was designed in 1975 by the SIG Arms AG division of Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft and currently manufactured by both SIG Sauer companies:
– SIG Sauer GMBH, of Eckernförde, Germany;
– SIG Sauer, Inc., of New Hampshire, United States.
