Instruction for the Colt Python Revolver
Cock the hammer.
Pull out the ramrod, which serves as the cylinder’s axis (see photo), and release the cylinder from the frame.
Insert the cartridges into the cylinder (ensuring that the side with the gray compound faces you and the notched end points in the direction of the shot).
Set the cylinder into its initial position and secure the axis with the ramrod.
Pull the trigger.
Cock the hammer again.
Rotate the cylinder with your fingers until the next notch aligns, and you’ll be able to fire again.
