Cock the hammer.

Scrolling the drum to put the cartridge in the firing position at the level of a special notch.

Insert the cartridge into the chamber of the drum so that the pin is directed to the side, scrolling to the next chamber.

Make a shot, then cock the hammer and put the next round in firing position.

When all cartridges have been fired, cock the hammer and use a ramrod to free the drum from spent cartridges.
